ABOUT US

Welcome to House of Ruth

As a community development organization led by Canadian and Rwandan members, our mission is to empower the people of Gisenyi, Rwanda through opportunities, education, nutrition, and healthcare. Our programs include a school and a cooperative that helps families utilize local resources to generate income. We aim to create job opportunities by teaching sewing skills and facilitating the sale of products both locally and internationally. Join us in our journey as we expand our cooperative and raise funds support more families, while also bringing communities together through our volunteer travel programs.
